We’re pleased to confirm that a new shipment of Japanese koi has arrived safely at our facilities today, featuring Tosai from two highly regarded breeders: Marudo and Hiroi.
This import marks an exciting start to the season, bringing a strong mix of young Tosai with excellent growth potential, colour development, and breeder quality.
What’s arrived?
Marudo Tosai (9–11cm)
A mixed selection of Tosai offering a wide range of colours and patterns. At this size, these koi are ideal for hobbyists who enjoy growing on Japanese stock and watching development over time.
The varieties include: Kohaku, Sanke, Showa, Gin rin Kohaku, Karashigoi, Chagoi, Soragoi, Gin rin Chagoi, Gin rin Soragoi, Yamabuki Ogon.
Hiroi Tosai (19–21cm)
Larger scaleless Tosai, with developed patterning and presence. These koi already show good balance and future potential.
The varieties include: Doitsu Kohaku, Doitsu Sanke, Doitsu Showa, Doitsu Ochiba, Gin Rin Ochiba and Goshiki.
All koi were carefully selected and transported to ensure they arrived in the best possible condition.
Quarantine & care process
All koi are now undergoing a full quarantine period at our facilities. During this time they will:

Be closely monitored for health and behavioural changes

Gradually settled and fed

heat ramped mulitple times, controlled systems

Individually assessed before being offered for sale
We never rush to place koi on sale to the public. Every fish is given the time it needs to settle properly before becoming available.
When will these koi be available?
These koi are expected to be available to purchase from March 2026, and available for shipping after the quarantine process is complete and final checks are carried out.
