NT Labs Malachite

Product Description

NT Labs Malachite is a highly effective treatment for external parasites and fungal infections. When used alongside NT Labs Formaldehyde, its performance is enhanced, allowing for lower levels of malachite to be used without reducing effectiveness.

Use NT Labs Malachite when fish display white, cotton-like growths on the body, head, or fins—sometimes accompanied by green or brown discolouration. Pairing Malachite with Formaldehyde can improve the treatment of stubborn fungal infections.

How to Use NT Labs Malachite

Test your pond water using NT Labs Test Kits to ensure conditions are suitable for treatment.

Mix the recommended dose in a clean bucket of pond water and distribute it evenly across the pond surface. Leave the treatment to work for 7 days.

Turn off UV filtration until the treatment is complete and ensure the pond is well aerated throughout.

If a second dose is required, confirm your diagnosis—microscopic examination may reveal that a different treatment is more appropriate. Always wait 7 days and perform a partial water change before re-treating or using a different medication.

Only treat when you can closely monitor your fish and respond quickly if any adverse reaction occurs.

If combining with Formaldehyde, mix the products together before adding them to the pond, following the same method above.

Warnings

Do not use with orfe, rudd, tench, or sturgeon/sterlet.

Do not use if water temperature exceeds 30°C, or during hot, humid, or thundery weather.

Do not mix this medication with others, except when used in combination with Koi Care Formaldehyde.

Repeated or high-dose treatments may damage fish gills. If two treatments fail to resolve the issue, seek further guidance to determine the underlying cause.
