The Evolution Aqua 320+ is a high-capacity, all-in-one pond filtration system designed to deliver outstanding water clarity and biological performance for large koi and heavily stocked ponds. Manufactured by Evolution Aqua, the 320+ builds on the proven Nexus design, combining advanced mechanical filtration with powerful moving-bed biological filtration in a single, easy-to-maintain unit.

With upgraded internal design and modern filter media, the Evolution Aqua 320+ allows ponds to mature faster while maintaining consistently clean and healthy water conditions.

Advanced Mechanical & Biological Filtration in One System

Water enters the Evolution Aqua 320+ through the inlet and flows into the central inner chamber. This chamber creates a gentle vortex effect, slowing the water and allowing heavier solid waste to settle naturally before filtration begins.

The water then passes into the redesigned Eazy filter, which contains a static bed of K1 Micro filter media. This stage captures fine particles extremely efficiently, providing exceptional mechanical filtration and significantly improving water clarity.

Once mechanically filtered, water flows into the outer chamber where the biological stage of filtration takes place. Here, a moving bed of K1 Media provides a vast protected surface area for beneficial bacteria to thrive. These bacteria convert harmful ammonia and nitrite into less harmful nitrate before the clean water exits the filter and returns to the pond.

How the Evolution Aqua 320+ Works

1. Pond water enters the inner chamber and slows, allowing heavy solids to settle
   
2. Fine particles are captured in the Eazy filter using static K1 Micro media
   
3. Water flows into the outer chamber for biological treatment via moving K1 Media
   
4. Clean, filtered water exits the system and returns to the pond
   

During cleaning, air is diverted into the Eazy filter to agitate the K1 Micro media, releasing trapped waste which is discharged through the waste outlet.

Reliable Biological Filtration

The moving bed chamber is where biological filtration takes place. Beneficial bacteria living on the K1 Media convert ammonia and nitrite produced by fish waste and uneaten food into nitrate. For ponds with higher feed rates, additional K1 Media can be added to increase biological capacity.

For optimal performance, maintain a pond pH of 7.0 or above. As with all biological filtration systems, efficiency may reduce in colder water temperatures.
