Premixed Kusuri Formalin and Kusuri Malachite Green provides an effective treatment for a wide range of single-celled parasites, including White Spot (Ich), Costia, Chilodonella, Oodinium, as well as persistent fungal infections caused by Saprolegnia and other protozoan parasites.
Product Description
Kusuri Formalin is a highly active chemical commonly used in combination with Kusuri Malachite Green to effectively treat White Spot (Ich) and other common external parasitic infections. Formalin works by partially removing the protective mucus layer on the fish, allowing Malachite Green to penetrate more effectively and eliminate parasites.
Important: Do not use Kusuri Formalin in ponds containing salt, as this can reduce effectiveness and harm fish.
Dosage and Usage
- Use 75ml per 1,000 gallons of pond water.
- Effective for water temperatures above 10°C.
- Ensure the pond has plentiful oxygen during treatment, as Formalin is an oxidising agent and can reduce oxygen levels.
- Best results are achieved when used in combination with Kusuri Malachite Green.
Safety Notes
- Do not use with salt in solution.
- Monitor fish carefully during treatment to ensure adequate oxygenation.
- Always follow proper handling procedures and wear protective gloves and eye protection.
