Fluke Ex 100g
Fluke-EX® 100g is a unique, highly effective treatment developed by Fish Treatment Ltd for use in ornamental ponds and tanks. Clinically proven to eliminate skin and gill flukes—including resistant strains—this powerful formula is ideal where other treatments have failed.
In addition to flukes, Fluke-EX® also treats a wide range of parasites including Trichodina, Costia, tapeworms, roundworms, and crustaceans such as Argulus (fish lice). It can be safely used in the presence of salt and will not harm biological filtration or pond plants.
Using the same trusted “rip, tip and stir” method as the Fluke-Solve range, it is simple to apply and highly effective. For egg-laying gill flukes, a second treatment after 3 weeks is recommended to break the life cycle.

Product Description
Fluke-EX® 100g is an advanced, cost-effective parasite treatment developed by Fish Treatment Ltd for use in ornamental ponds and aquariums. Designed to offer superior performance compared to traditional treatments, it provides a reliable solution for persistent and resistant parasite infestations.
Extensive clinical trials have demonstrated that Fluke-EX® is highly effective against both skin and gill flukes, including strains that have developed resistance to other treatments. It also offers broad-spectrum control, targeting Trichodina, Costia, tapeworms, roundworms, and external crustacean parasites such as Argulus (fish lice).
Fluke-EX® utilises the same proprietary delivery system as the Fluke-Solve range, making application quick and straightforward—simply mix (“rip, tip and stir”) and add to the pond. It is safe to use with salt present and will not affect beneficial bacteria in filters or harm aquatic plants.
Suitable for a wide range of species including Koi and Goldfish, Fluke-EX® remains effective at temperatures as low as 3°C, making it a versatile year-round treatment option.
Dosage and Usage
- Use at a rate of 4g per 1,000 litres of pond water.
- Pre-mix the required dose in approximately 10 litres of pond water, stir thoroughly, and add evenly to the pond.
- Rinse the mixing container with pond water and add this to the pond.
Alternatively, fish may be treated in a separate immersion tank for a minimum of 24 hours. - For egg-laying flukes, a second treatment is recommended after 3 weeks to interrupt the life cycle.
This 100g pack treats up to 25,000 litres (5,500 gallons) and is intended for a maximum of 3 treatments.
Safety and Storage
- Can be used in the presence of salt, but do not use alongside other treatments.
- For use in closed water systems only.
- Store in a cool, dry place and reseal opened sachets to maintain effectiveness until the expiry date.
- Dispose of unused product in accordance with local regulations.
