Kusuri Acriflavine

Product Description

Kusuri Acriflavine 1% is a broad-spectrum liquid medication designed for the treatment of bacterial, protozoal, and external fungal infections in pond fish. It is particularly effective against ulcers, fin rot, mouth rot, and fungal growths, and can also be used in the management of Dropsy.

This versatile treatment helps disinfect wounds, supports healing, and prevents secondary infections, making it a valuable addition to any koi keeper’s health management routine.

Dosage and Coverage

• Dosage: Use 10ml per 454 litres (100 gallons) of pond water.
  
• Repeat treatments may be carried out every 3–5 days, depending on the severity of the infection.
  
• Maintain treatment for up to three applications, with partial water changes between doses if necessary.
  

Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Overdosing may cause stress to fish or damage to pond bacteria.

How to Use

1. Switch off UV sterilisers, ozone, and carbon filters during treatment.
   
2. Shake the bottle well before use.
   
3. Measure the correct dose using the supplied measuring cup.
   
4. Dilute the required amount in a clean watering can filled with pond water.
   
5. Distribute evenly across the surface of the pond over a 1-hour period.
   
6. Maintain good aeration throughout the treatment period.

• Store in the original container at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C.
  
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  
• For animal pond water treatment only.
  
• Always wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling chemicals.
  
• Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling.
  
• Use within 12 months of opening.
  
• Do not use in conjunction with other medications unless advised.
