Kusuri Hydrogen Peroxide

Product Description

Kusuri Hydrogen Peroxide 6% is a versatile pond treatment used to neutralise and clear the residual effects of Potassium Permanganate, as well as to re-oxygenate pond water after treatments. Following a Potassium Permanganate application, pond water can sometimes appear brown or murky, which may take several days to clear naturally. Kusuri Hydrogen Peroxide 6% rapidly accelerates this process, restoring water clarity.

This product is also useful in emergency situations where Potassium Permanganate overdosing has stressed koi. By applying the recommended dose, the oxidising effects of Potassium Permanganate are neutralised, helping fish recover quickly.

Additionally, Hydrogen Peroxide 6% can be applied prior to sludge or detritus removal, neutralising hydrogen sulphide released from the organic matter and improving water quality.

Dosage and Coverage

• Dosage: 25ml per 1,004 litres (220 gallons) of pond water
  
• 500ml bottle treats 20,003 litres (4,400 gallons)
  
• 1 litre bottle treats 40,006 litres (8,800 gallons)
  

For standard use, add Hydrogen Peroxide slowly to the pond over a 1-hour period. In emergency situations, it can be added around the outer edges of the pond over a few minutes to disperse the treatment quickly.

How to Use

1. Shake the bottle well before use.
   
2. Measure the correct dose carefully.
   
3. Apply directly to the pond water as described.
   
4. Securely tighten the cap after use.
   

Note: Even after a single application, Hydrogen Peroxide may remain active in the pond for 3–4 days. Do not apply Potassium Permanganate during this time, as it will reduce the effectiveness of the new treatment.

• Store in the original container at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C.

• Use within 3 months of opening.
